This pad has really helped save my daughter's horse's back. Hunt saddle used to put a lot of pressure in small area. Also has helped correct her body position!

Comments about Eqinnovatio EQ Innovations Riser Pad:

I use this with my Aussie Saddle. My horse's spine is so prominent that I really needed something more than a regular pad to lift the saddle off of his spine. It works really well and my horse is comfortable.

Can this pad be used with western saddles? What keeps it in place?

              • A:

Yes this works well with Western saddles. We purchased last fall for use on our older trail horse and it worked wonders! You simply place it on top of your saddle blanket and then saddle up. There was no slippage once we cinched up. Excellent choice at a good price.

                A:

Measuring your saddle and comparing the difference to the pad measurements would be best. The pad measures the spine at 18", front width (wither) 15", rear width 11".
