Comments about Dura-Tech Gel-Lite Split Support Pad:

I purchased this to put over the gel pad, and it has done an excellent job of concealing it in the show ring. I highly recommend you purchase this if you are looking at showing with the gel pad. The gel pad is a touch too big for your typical show pad, and it will over hang. This white cover helps make everything blend better.

Comments about Dura-Tech Gel-Lite Split Support Pad:

I absolutely love the gel pad with the optional shims. I use it for a rear riser pad, and I feel like it is much higher quality than the pads that I have used in the past. The only problem that I have had with the pad is that it will hang out over your english show pad. I bought the white cover so it is as minimally obvious as possible. I would buy this pad again in a heart beat, though.

Comments about Dura-Tech Gel-Lite Split Support Pad:

I bought this to help make a 16 yo ottb more comfortable when we ride. It seems to have done the trick famously! It's a high quality pad and not at all bulky but my mare has been less back tender. It's not overly attractive but does have an available cover that I will likely purchase before show season

Comments about Dura-Tech Gel-Lite Split Support Pad:

My horse lost some muscle tone in his shoulder/wither area after a long riding hiatus, and the front shims helps my saddle to fit better while we are rebuilding his muscle. I use it with my cutback saddle, my close contact hunt saddle, and my Australian saddle on the trails and it works with each of these. The half pad is very cushy overall and I'm planning on continuing to use it without the shims once his muscle tone is built back up.

The only improvement I would suggest would be to offer a set of thinner shims, rather than a single large shim, to help customize saddle fit even more. Other than that, very happy with this pad!

Comments about Dura-Tech Gel-Lite Split Support Pad:

I purchased a gel-pad and there was no cover included, so I ordered this cover from sstack.com and it fits perfectly. I even was able to get my horses name embroidered on the side of it.
