Best Uses

Comments about Allied Clickshield Cord Lock:

Took way to long to figure out on a cold day. Not easy to access to unplug cord. Does not easily fit heavy duty cords. Way to difficult to operate on a cord that I have to unplug at least once a week.

Comments about Allied Clickshield Cord Lock:

I purchased 6 of these to attach 6 100-foot extension cords together to run an emergency light and heat lamp out to a run-in for two elderly pasture horses in lousy weather that just would NOT quit- they worked beautifully- easy to see, kept the cords together, the connections dry. These would make me much more comfortable using extension cords around and in the barn in the future, too- much less worry about fire as I would KNOW the hot-end of the cord is completely covered with a durable "shield". These are a good value for what they do.

This unit just snaps over the cords that are connected? It doesn't come with a short extension cord, right?
