Comments about StormShield® 1680D Big Fella Turnout - X-Midweight:

Thicker than I expected. Durable other draft horse blankets would be stretched out in the neck and oddly cut in the back these fit like a normal horse blanket for the big boys.

    Comments about StormShield® 1680D Big Fella Turnout - X-Midweight:

The seams over the croup came apart however you sent me another jacket. WOW-Excellent Customer Service. Didn't know businesses cared about making this right. I am planning on ordering another belly wrap jacket (like the last one I got) for the winter. I have several draft horses.

Comments about StormShield® 1680D Big Fella Turnout Sheet:

Our draft horse, Rosie, is very sensitive to changing weather. (Warm days to cold nights.) She loves to wear the Stormshield 1680D Big Fella Turnout. It gives her plenty of room in all the right places. We don't have to worry about it shifting or sliding because the weight of the blanket and the fit keep it in place as she plays and rolls in the pasture. It looks brand new after weeks of wear. The seams and fasteners are well made and they stand up to the wear and tear of "Big Fella" life.

Comments about StormShield® 1680D Big Fella Turnout Sheet:

In the past I have had to get Romke's blankets shipped from Europe since I could not find any to fit him locally. A friend alerted me that Schneider sold blankets that fit Draft horses. This is Romke's second Schneider blanket. He got a winter coat last year and now his rain coat. he is a happy boy.

How to Measure for a Horse Blanket:

How to Measure for a Horse Blanket
            • For best fit, stand horse squarely.
            • Measure from center of chest to edge of tail.
            • Take care to measure along the widest part of the shoulder and hindquarters.
            • The blanket measurement result is the blanket size.
            • If your measurement is in between sizes, round up to the next blanket size. Example: 73" = Size 74.
