VaporShield™ Fly Wear
VaporShield combines our best-selling fly wear with Fly Armor all natural fly repellent inserts for total fly and UV protection.
Pockets on the VaporShield Fly Wear hold Fly Armor™ all natural insect repellent inserts. Made of essential oils the inserts slowly vaporize to provide a cloud of protection which repels flies, mosquitoes, gnats, fleas, ticks and no-see-ums.
Inserts last on average four weeks in continuous use and can be preserved in sealed plastic when not needed. The inserts are engineered for maximum vaporization in hot weather when bugs are worst. One insert per pocket generally provides sufficient protection. In moderate weather an additional insert may be needed. Each pocket can hold two.
The oils in Fly Armor™ are eco-friendly, 100% natural, non-toxic and veterinarian recommended. UV stabilization protects the material from degradation during exposure to sunlight. To ensure safety the pockets are constructed with a three ply aluminum core laminate backing to prevent leaching of the oils onto the horse’s skin.
VaporShield™ fly sheets are made of structured 300 denier polyester interlock mesh in our classic Euro pattern. The sheets hold up well for turnout and provide 80% UV protection.

- Made of structured interlock 300 denier polyester in Euro style with attached neck cover joined by lycra for ease in grazing
