Comments about Dura-Tech® Miniature Turnout Sheet:

I bought two of these -- one for each of my ponies. They are great. I've used them alone for both rainy and windy days; for days when it's sunny, but chilly and the ground is covered with snow; overnight in the barn when it's chilly but not cold; over their stable blankets; and to keep my roller clean from the mud. They have two completely different body types (one is a cartoon fat Shetland and the other is lanky and leggy) but the style works for both. They don't shift around or get twisted, no matter how hard they play and roll. Really happy with these sheets.

Best mini blankets out there. Great fit, nicely made, high quality blanket. We have a 25+ year old mini that gets cold when it's under 20 degrees outside, this lil blanket fits him awesome!

Comments about Dura-Tech® Miniature Midweight Turnout:

This blanket fit my mini pretty well around the neck, but was a little short over his rump. His blanket measurement is 44 inches, and I purchased a 46 inch size after having to return a 44 inch one that was way too short over his rear end. I consulted with a customer service rep who suggested trying a larger size. It would still be too short if it didn't have the tail cover.

          • Dura-Tech® Miniature Turnout Sheet

            Q:

Does this sheet have any fill? If so how many grams? Some people are saying that it is warm in the reviews.

There is no insulation with this blanket.

            • A:

There are two options for this same turnout. One is a medium weight with 220 grams of fill and the other is a simple sheet with no fill. Shneiders labels them as one item is named a sheet and the other is labeled as a mid-weight. Be sure to notice when you are picking out size and color in the drop down boxes, if there is a selection for a sheet or mid-weight.

No fill. Just a waterproof turnout. When it's cold and raining or snowing I put it over a stable blanket to keep him dry.

No fill, it's just a sheet, but it has some weight to it and not a thin sheet.
