Comments about Adjusta-Fit® SuperQuilt® Cutback Bellyband Stable Blanket - Extra Heavyweight:

I have nothing bad to say. Only reason I bought a new one is because my mare got bigger. All of our horses have them and they hold up better than any blanket we have owned. It will be the only blanket I ever own from now on.

All of my horses wear these blankets all winter in Maine. Some of my blankets are several years old and have held up very well. They are very durable. They also wash well

Comments about Adjusta-Fit® SuperQuilt® Cutback Bellyband Stable Blanket - Extra Heavyweight:

I have an old horse that has always had a narrow high withered frame. This fit like a glove on him! I didn't expect this, I figured since he has no girth it would hang on him but it didn't. The belly band helped snug it up just right with no awkward folds. My only "gripe" is the Velcro fasteners weren't long enough, so the excess straps flap freely. Not a problem for just one horse but in a winter bored herd they think this is a toy!! My horse seems proud in it and is protective of it so the other horses haven't been able to get these straps yet!! They try but they are met with attitude they deserve from the wearer!!

This stable blanket is not waterproof. However, if you are looking for the perfect waterproof, heavyweight blanket we recommend trying either our StormShield® 1200D NEW BRITON Bellyband Turnouts item #17121 or our StormShield® CONTOUR COLLAR Euro Extreme Turnouts item #31952.
