Comments about Dura-Tech® Cooling Gel Wrap 13"x15":

I am rehabbing a very elderly, severely neglected gelding. He foundered and needed relief, so I bought four of these wraps. They are very simple to put on and take off, even when the horse is a little cranky and impatient. I love that you just store them right in the freezer. And the coldness lasts for just the right amount of time (used in April in north central Indiana). My old guy seemed to be comfortable in them, and they didn't impede his ability to walk.

      Service and delivery comments:

      Very quick delivery.

          Comments about Dura-Tech® Cooling Wrap 16" X20":

These cool wraps are well made and stay securely in place. I have used them on knees, hocks and legs. The elastic/Velcro straps allow use to use them on any part of the leg. They cool the legs nicely.

            Comments about Dura-Tech Cooling Wrap 16" X16":

These bandages are very ample in size and cover the large horses limbs really well. They are a bit heavy though and can be a little tricky getting them on until you get the hang of it. Really a good buy - I initially bought a pair of the limb wraps and liked them so much that I immediately ordered a pair of the foot/limb wraps too.

Can these be left on over night during turn out?

The only thing I can say is that these boots have very good straps that have strong Velcro. The cooling last about a half hour then I put the boots back in the freezer for the next day. Hope this helps.

Cold wraps are most effective when used intermittently, 30 minutes on, 30 minutes off. I wouldn't recommend them for overnight turnout.

You probably could but after the gel melts, it will be looser and could
fall off. The recommended time of usefullness is anywhere from 30 minutes
to an hour based on the fact that if freeze them so that they stay cooler
longer it could be too extreme if left on for extended periods of time.

                A:

You would have to hold the wrap on to the stifle the whole time. I would suggest just cold hosing the stifle.

Yes, the gel wrap can be used to ice stifles.
