I bought these boots mainly to use for showing but I like them so much I'm going to buy a second pair to use in daily riding. They are so easy to put on and to keep clean and so far, appear to give my horse the support he needs.

I use these on a 15.3 hand Quarterhorse, who is a small framed horse. They fit him perfectly. Not sure about a pony, though, whose cannon bone circumference is likely smaller.

I use these more for riding around the house. You could use them for barrel Racine they just don't have as much support as others do.

I guess it would depend on the rules. I don’t show in the listed disciplines, I just use them for riding to protect my horses legs when doing trail obstacles. I love them though.

These can be used for jumping as they do offer protection to the splint bone area. However, there is not much support so if that is desired we would recommend Dura-Tech® Extra Support Neoprene Boots or item #14206.
