      The only treats I feed.

Comments about Peppermint Bits by Buckeye® Nutrition:

These treats are perfect for reinforcing good behavior. My mare is extremely girthy and I have been using these to help train her out of it. I tighten the girth, give her a treat, tighten treat, and so on. She has gone from ungirthable to just a little irritable when girthed. She knows the routine now and looks forward to her treat. All the little girls love her in the barn too so these treats are perfect. Ten girls can come up and give her a treat and I don't have to worry about her getting overweight or getting too much sugar, etc.

These treats are great! I have a mini and a paint and love that I can feed them to both. I am cautious on how big of treats I give to my mini. They are also sugar free which makes me feel better, but still need to be careful since one of the ingredients is molasses. My horses love them too - got the peppermint flavor.

If you have goats, give them a try! My Nigerian Dwarf goats can't get enough of them, especially the peppermint flavor!!

Comments about Peppermint Bits by Buckeye® Nutrition:

I was disappointed in the treats. These treats used to be a compressed cylinder shape about the size of your little finger and rather hard, now these new treats are flat about the size of a nickel and soft almost like a saltine cracker. My horse will not eat them! I think for horses it's all about the texture, they love carrots and apples because of the crunch but in general not peaches, pears, or the soft fruits. I know there are exceptions I had a horse that ate bananas, but he would have preferred carrots. I think it's the same here.....too soft. Now I have 4 lbs of treats he won't eat! Buckeye needs to go back to the original hard nugget

Can I get a list of ingredients in these treats? For our horse is allergic to soy and molasses. Thank you
