Comments about Dura-Tech Breakaway Cribbing & Grazing Muzzle:

Finally, an item that allows me to continue using the same grazing or cribbing muzzle! My horse was continually wearing out the hole in the bottom of the muzzle and this allows me to be able to not have to buy a new muzzle each time, just put this disk in the bottom of the old muzzle and it's like new again.

Comments about Dura-Tech Breakaway Cribbing & Grazing Muzzle:

This grazing muzzle is working well on a chubby horse that is in irrigated pasture with other horses that don't need to limit their intake. It's easy to put on and take off. After a short period of adjustment, the horse is wearing it (currently without the rubber insert because it's winter) and grazing on the grass and drinking water without difficulty.

Its small, lightweight and my horse is much more comfortable in this muzzle than the other ones I have tried.

I am looking at replacing a metal ring, because my filly got muzzle caught on something and pulled 1 of the rings that attaches to the breakway off. I found the muzzle and the disk 30 feet away. The halter was still on filly. Please help me find a replacement ring.

Comments about Dura-Tech Breakaway Cribbing & Grazing Muzzle:

We have a notorious beaver/cribber. No other treatment kept him from latching into his stall or the fencing. He is a life-long cribber who came to us in his middle 20s, with his front teeth worn to the gum line from perpetual cribbing. Leather collars, topical sprays, nothing stopped him. These work. However, the straps holding the basket do wear over time and will break. I have had excellent customer service when I've contacted them about this (they replaced unit), but one usually only lasts us 4-6 mos. My other gelding, who is quite the Houdini, is able to get these off within 5 min. I've not had much problem keeping it on "the beaver" though.
