Comments about Ovation Deluxe Schooler Helmet:

This is the third one I have purchased for my daughter. First one would still be with us, were it not for a large paint stepping in it. Purchased an extra one to take when she visits and rides at other barns. Love the styling and the dial adjustment feature.(Great for those in constant flux over hair length/style as you can tighten or loosen depending on whether or not you are growing your hair or recently cut your hair!)

Comments about Ovation Deluxe Schooler Helmet:

I like the dial fit on the helmet. I have a really small head and its always a trouble to find something that will fit and not slide back and forth into my feild of vision. This helmet fit perfectly and really felt comfortable. Everything seemed pretty sturdy. I did notice it was a bit hard to clean at times. I set my helmet down in an area with a bit of dirt and had to focus a minute to clean it off. The helmet does come with a thing carrying bag to protect it and this has come in handy.

Overall this is a great lightweight schooling helmet and I would purchase one again!

Not sure what size to get. Is there a size chart?
Asked on 10/29/2015 by Kim from Washington IL

            • A:

Here is the fit guide and sizing info: To properly size your helmet, measure the circumference of your head by placing the measuring tape roughly one inch above the eyebrow. Different helmet manufacturers have different sizing, so consult the size chart for the particular helmet that you are purchasing. Also consider how you
will wear your hair in your helmet. If you are planning on wearing your hair up inside the helmet, allow room for this when choosing a size. When you receive the helmet, place it on your head without fastening the harness. If applicable, adjust the dial on the back of the helmet. Make sure the brim is resting no more than one inch above your eyebrows. Gently try to move the brim up and down. If your eyebrows move, your helmet fits correctly from front to back. Next, shake your head side to
side, to the left and to the right. The helmet should remain in place. If either of these tests result in movement, you will want to drop down a size. If the helmet seems to be "perched" on top of your head, you will want to consider moving up a size.
