Comments about Iconoclast XL Tall Hind Orthopedic Support Boot:

I purchased a set of 4 boots to support my horse that injured his Deep Flexor Tendon's in both hind legs. He wears them to be turned out right or trailered to the vet now. We will continue to use them as he starts work when he is cleared to. So far they are holding up well, seem to really provide support to his sore legs and are fairly easy to apply for daily turn out.

I event and have not been able to find a hind boot that does not slip down even when taping them. I have a 17 hand 1/2 Clyde, 1/2 thoroughbred. How do you think these would work? Also, can they get wt?

These boots were designed to support and protect while performing extreme physical activity. So far, these boot have been most popular. The boots can get wet but may retain the water because of the neoprene outer and interior padding.

Hi - These stay up pretty well, but do slip a tiny bit. Not entirely sure how effective they are at actually supporting the soft tissue structures, but is any boot? Probably do inhibit movement somewhat. I have gotten mine wet, but I do dressage so it's different. Hope this helps.

I have just recently purchased both hind and front Iconoclast.  I use them on a 15 hand older mare quarter horse and they fit very well.

These boots do not slip and seem to support her fetlock Initially they are hard to put on but once broken in no problem I initially bought medium but exchanged the boots for a large. My horse is 16'3

We use them for barrel racing horses and do not experience any slipping at all. They fit very well and are quality made. They are neoprene so water should not harm them. I have tried many others and the quality of these stands out above the rest.

They seem to stay on pretty well, and I get them wet all the time. The Velcro does start to wear out after a few months, but keeping them clean will help them stay sticky. I event too but only use these for dressage so haven't tested them for jumping. Hope this helps a little!

They did not slip down and offer good support.  They are washable so I assume they are fine if they get wet.

There is a 2" different in the height between the regular and tall sizes. For a shipping cost you would need to call into customer service or contact Caitlin at cyrnes@sstack.com for a quote.
