Not durable, poor stitching.

    • Poor Quality

    Best Uses

Comments about Hoof Wraps Equine Hoof Bandage:

Poorly made, the bottom splits apart after on a few (2-5) uses to cover treated and wrapped hoof on horse confined too paddock. Did not wrap to a well fitting cover, allowed dirt and sand to get in between Hoof Wrap and actual bandaging of hoof. Actually flex horse bandage and gorilla tape on bottom worked best.
Used on Arab hoof, so not a large hoof, doubt that it would work any better on a large hoof as it just does not seal up well. Worthless in wet or sloppy terrain.

    Service and delivery comments:

Product came reasonable quickly, not rush.

Comments about Hoof Wraps Equine Hoof Bandage:

This hoof wrap and pad are the BEST solution I have found for a lost shoe on the trail, during a show or on the farm. The pad prevents additional bruising or wear or tear and the wrap is easy to apply and fairly durable in good conditions. I have one in every trailer and in every trunk. These make GREAT gifts for horse-owning friends, too!

Comments about Hoof Wraps Equine Hoof Bandage:

The Hoof Wrap was a huge time saver when my horse had an abscess this fall! I was able to simply pack the area and cover with this velcro wrap! (Instead of the usual wrapping his whole hoof in cotton/vetwrap/duct tape.)

He's 22 and is a pain to keep his hind leg lifted to do all that doctoring, so this was a huge help. The hoof I was using this on had an eggbar shoe, and the one-size-fits-all just fit. The velcro attachments are very strong yet forgiving with size. He was never able to get it off (I left it on 2 days at a time) even being a stall walker. Once he was able to be turned out again, I simply duct taped around the outside of the boot once it was on, just to ensure the deep mud wouldn't suck it off of his foot.

I have to say I was skeptical because in your hand this wrap doesn't seem like much... I was pleasantly surprised and impressed especially considering the low price tag! After 3 weeks of use, it is worn out, but at that price I've already purchased another to keep on hand for the next time.

After my horse lost a front shoe in the pasture together with part of his hoof wall, the hoof wrap was very easy to apply and stayed on until the farrier arrived a few days later.

I have a paint yearling that is very tender on gravel. At the shows, some roads are not paved and he tends to become very sore. Would this fit his feet?
