        Comments about Pressure-ice Therapy Wraps:

Absolutely the Best Therapy Boots I have used! They really work well. Helped with an injured leg perfectly and also aided in the wind puff department. Other boots the horses I work with seem to get uncomfortable after time. Not so with the Pressure-ice Therapy Boots! Wonderful for after a work out as well.

        Cold Therapy Instructions:
        1. Place removable Gel-Packs in freezer overnight or for at least 3 hours. Gel will remain pliable.
        2. Lay cold Gel-Packs inside mesh pockets and re-secure Velcro sides. Tongue of Gel-Pack faces down through opening.
        3. Secure the wrap around the leg with elastic/Velcro tabs and lower pastern support strap. Wrap should be snug, not tight.
        4. Optional leg-surround pressure is created by hand pumping  air into the outer pockets with the attached squeeze pump. Amount of pressure is optional. Introduce pressure gradually. Approximately 20 pumps is normal.
        5. Pressure can be increased and decreased at time intervals of your choice to create intermittent compression.
        6. Leave Wraps on for 20 to 35 minutes for best results.
        7. Before removing wraps, open air pressure release valve allowing air to escape.
        8. Remove Velcro straps. Be aware of Velcro noise around young horses.

        Heat Therapy Instructions:
        1. Heat removable Gel-Packs individually in a microwave oven. Warning: Microwave strengths vary.  45 seconds on high is an average recommendation.
        2. Lay heated Gel-Packs inside mesh pockets and re-secure Velcro sides. Tongue of Gel-Pack faces down through opening. Follow steps 3 through 8 from Cold Therapy Instructions.

        Pressure-Ice® Maintenance:
        1. Wipe Gel-Packs occasionally with damp cloth. Avoid sharp instruments or brushes.
        2. Hand wash wraps in mild soap and water. Rinse. Hang out to dry.
        3. No Washer or Dryer.
