Comments about Joseph Sterling® Comfort Plus Hunter Bridle:

A client purchased this bridle for me to show her horse in. The price point had me a bit worried, but the bridle is very nice. I wouldn't consider it "luxurious", but definitely a great bridle at a fabulous price. I will recommend it to other clients.

Comments about Joseph Sterling® Comfort Plus Hunter Bridle:

I have only a comment that the cob size fits Morgans well, but this is a larger Morgan and ordered the horse-size which was good, but the caveson was a big large if we need to make it tighter as the leather stretches with use.

This bridle is amazing for the price. I have had it a whole year and I'm now back to buy more bridles in this line. I love good quality leather, but I also can't afford $500 bridles, and this is amazing quality for the price. You won't be unhappy with this purchase.

Comments about Joseph Sterling® Comfort Plus Hunter Bridle:

I did a lot of shopping around online trying to find the most bang for my buck in a hunter bridle. I show locally and simply cannot afford a fancy $400 bridle, but I still wanted something that looked classy for my mare. I came across this one and my husband surprised me with it for Christmas. I'm very pleased with it so far. Straight out of the bag, this bridle was useable (not terribly stiff, in other words). I can't speak on its durability since I haven't had it for long, but it feels like decent quality leather. I doubt I could have done better in this price range. Looking forward to hitting the shows with it this spring!

Comments about Joseph Sterling® Comfort Plus Hunter Bridle:

I love these bridles. I have several of them. They are durable, attractive, and easily as nice as the very expensive brands. None of mine have broken and some are a few years old. They fit the horses very well. The leather is very soft and break in time is minimal. I gave mine a good oiling before using the first time.

            • Q:

What are the dimensions of the full size vs the cob size? Specifically brow band lengths, and minimum cheek piece on full, and largest on cob? I am trying to fit a morgan cross with a big forehead/throat-latch, but shorter face.

                A:

The cob browband measurement is 15 1/4" and the full size measures 16 1/4". The overall shortest measurement on the full size (from bit end to bit end) is 35 1/2" and the longest measurement on the cob size (from bit end to bit end) is 41 1/2".

The leather is made in England and the bridle is assembled by an English trained saddler in India.

            • Q:

How long is the browband on the cob size? I have Morgans and they need
cob size, but usually full size browbands.

              Thanks!
