A must for every horse owner. Sometimes we think because our horses are quiet, that your horse is not stressing out. I learned the hard way after my horse was dx with ulcers. I give the day before, day of and day after competition. If gone for a long period away from home, we give 1/4 tube everyday. I don't dare gamble with generics. Happy horse, happy owner!

              A:

We always advise that you check with their breed association for rules and regulations. UlcerGard is intended for use only in the prevention of stomach ulcers in healthy horses. It is FDA approved and works to reduce production of stomach acid in the stomach.
However, U Gard is a different brand then Ulcergard. U gard is made with all natural ingredients.
