Needed to stop my mare from tossing her grain on the floor. This did the trick, though now she gets mad at it and bangs it against the wall.

Comments about Dura-Tech® Platinum Feed Saver Ring:

My 34 year old horse suddenly started expressing himself by throwing his full feed bucket around the stall. I bought this bucket and ring cover and permanently mounted it to a U shaped pipe bracket that I installed in his stall. He can't throw his feed now ..BUT, he has started to poop on it in the bucket!!! So, I leave a rubber glove by his stall and the barn crew simply remove his horse apples every day before feeding. He has become a very fussy eater...and I feed a mixture of pellets and grain. I think he wants just grain, but at his age, he needs more. This way he HAS to eat what he is served...or starve! He has chosen to eat it...and express his discontent with his pooping, but at least he isn't throwing his feed all over and wasting it.
