ULCERGARD®  is intended for use only in the prevention of stomach ulcers in healthy horses. Clinical signs of stomach ulcers may include: decreased appetite, recurrent colic, intermittent loose stools or diarrhea, poor hair coat, poor body condition or poor performance. These signs may also be associated with other diseases as well as existing stomach ulcers. If your horse is exhibiting one or more of these signs, consult your veterinarian for diagnosis and treatment.
 
How To Use UlcerGard®
Give a daily dose of ULCERGARD, clearly marked on each tube, on the back of the horse’s tongue or deep in the cheek pouch. If any of the dose is lost or rejected, re-dosing is recommended.
The patented paste formulation guarantees stability and consistency. Each tube of ULCERGARD contains four daily doses for horses weighting 600 to 1,200 lbs.

1 dose per day (as marked on ULCERGARD syringe)
Over 1,200 lbs
2 doses per day
 
UlcerGard® may be used in breeding Stallions. Safety in pregnant mares has not been determined.

                  A:

                  We always advise that you check with their breed association for rules and regulations. UlcerGard is intended for use only in the prevention of stomach ulcers in healthy horses. It is FDA approved and works to reduce production of stomach acid in the stomach.
                  However, U Gard is a different brand then Ulcergard. U gard is made with all natural ingredients.
