Description:
Lexol Conditioner is a liquid conditioner and preservative intended for use in the care and conservation of leather. It works to preserve and maintain the strength, beauty and flexibility of leather -- old and new -- and to help restore resiliency to old or neglected leather that has become hardened and stiff.

Product Benefits:

  • Lexol Conditioner is an emulsion much like those used in leather tanning so it puts back the essential oils to nourish and protect leather
  • It is concentrated, so it cleans effectively with a considerably smaller quantity of product
  • The modified oils in Lexol Conditioner are retained in the area of application to protect against migration, or seepage, into adjacent materials or surfaces

Works Great On:

  • Auto Upholstery
  • Saddlery
  • Boots
  • Briefcases
  • Luggage
  • Sports Equipment
  • Shoes
  • Furniture
  • Handbags

Directions:

  • Shake well
  • If leather is dirty, clean it first
  • Apply Lexol onto leather and promptly spread with a cloth or sponge
  • Apply to entire area
  • After a few minutes, wipe off excess and buff with a soft dry cloth

Caution:
Do not use on suede leathers. Test a small sport of unseen leather to make sure it doesn't darken if you are unsure. May darken lightly colored leathers. Keep out of the reach of children.

The leather on this couch that I purchased has been uncared for the slightest touch like your finger nail makes a scratch mark wiping it with a damp rag doesn't remove the scratches will this product restore the leather to look new and remove the scratches

      A:

The product will not remove the scratches. It will help protect and maintain a soft texture while nourishing. It will add a shine back to the leather couch to restore it to "new" look.

Do you have a question about this product?

For a light cleaning and conditioning, use a sponge or cloth dampened with Lexol Leather Conditioner.

To begin, pour a little Lexol (size of a half-dollar) on a damp sponge or cloth and wipe onto the leather surface. Old, dry leather will absorb conditioner much faster than newer leather. Repeat the process to condition the entire saddle. Where the back of the leather is accessible, be sure to condition both sides. Let the conditioner soak in for 20 to 30 minutes, then rub down the leather with a dry towel.

After the conditioner is dry, a warm, glowing patina can be brought to the surface with a soft brush or a piece of shearling sheepskin.
