"Nice quality, good fit overall. The cavesson is rather wide and the crank seems to be a bit short for my stubby headed QH- but I was well aware of the possibility. It does fit properly. The flash attachment does fold back ok. This bridle does everything it's advertised to do and the Havana color is fabulous. As with all things Schneider's, it's well thought out and functional!"

Only CON- The chestnut version of this bridle is painted over and there are some tiny chips in the paint from my horse nuzzlingtrying to itch herself after we ride. They are noticeable if you look for them."

"I have found Joseph Sterling leatherwork to be a great value, and this bridle is no exception. I spent a lot of time scouring the internet for an affordable double bridle and this one ticked the most boxes for me. It fits my horse quite well -- full size for a 15. 3h Lusitano. It has a well padded anatomic crown piece that is not too bulky. It comes with reins, which many doubles do not. I could do without the crank noseband, but it is difficult to find a dressage bridle without one, so this is where I compromised. The leather is very supple right out of the box and is breaking in well. I cannot comment on durability, hence giving it only 4 stars."
"I am very impressed with this bridle. I bought it because one horse didn't like the flash noseband but my other horse needed it. I hate having the piece hanging down on the noseband when I didn't need it and this configuration hides that beautifully. Also if you are on the cusp of going from a snaffle to a double bridle you have the ability to add the extra bit and not buy a whole new bridle. I've had it for 2 years and its still in great shape. Looks good enough for showing although I use it everyday. It is nicely padded on the sensitive parts of the horse and they really seem comfortable in it."
