      Comments about Dura-Tech® Track Bandages:

These bandages are terrific for use with cotton or pillow wraps. Helps relieve sore or damaged tendons. Also good in combination with cellophane for sweating a horse's leg. Wash before using to get normal cotton texture.

            Comments about Dura-Tech® Track Bandages:

I love the feel of the fabric, but was shocked to discover a hole gnawed through one of the bandages. Do you have rats? Your products are usually so good so was surprised to discover this flaw.

            Comments about Dura-Tech® Track Bandages:

I use track bandages over Eskadron climatex bandage liners for flat work. Historically, I have used Saratoga bandages, which cost upwards of $70, so I thought I would test these out as a cheaper alternative. I should not have been surprised that they are not what I expected, due to the great price. I have always associated track bandages with stretchy but breathable material...these are not stretchy and are not the least bit breathable. More like regular polos than track bandages. Still offer some protection, and are a good price. I will still continue to use my one set occasionally, but I will buy more Saratogas for warmer weather and more intense workouts.

What is the difference between the track bandages and polo wraps? Are they used for different purposes?

                A:

The track bandages are ideal to use to support the flexor tendon during exercise and use as standing wraps or for cold water bandages. While polos are more for absorbing shock while providing excellent and comfortable support during riding, training, exercising or in the trailer.
