Comments about Dura-Tech® Gel-Lite™ Support Pad System:

Really like the dura-tech gel pad. I got two covers for it so I can rotate them at the shows. I don't like to put a dirty or wet pad on my horse. Showing in the summer they do get wet from sweat

Comments about Dura-Tech® Gel-Lite™ Support Pad System:

Very nice pad for the price. It is a nice system that does a great job lifting the front of the saddle on my high-withered old Arabian trail horse. It is comfortable for both the rider and the horse. The quality of the pad (and shims) is comparable to the higher priced pads my friends have.
An added perk for me is that it solved some "under saddle" behavioral problems!
I would recommend this pad to anyone who wants a quality piece of equipment at a great price.

I actually use cover without a gel pad; it provides just enough extra padding.

Comments about Dura-Tech® Gel-Lite™ Support Pad System:

The split support pad is great for my older retired racehorses. It fills in the hollows at the shoulders and back and supports the western saddle nicely. The pad isn't super soft yet giving enough to conform to his confirmation. The sweat marks are good, my horse seems comfortable. Need to pay attention to the tightness in the shoulders after cinching up. With my gelding is fine, with my younger mare the support pad worked for relieve back spasms although did make the fit really tight in the shoulders when cinched up. I can adjust the tightness with another saddle pad plus this support pad. I recommend this pad and didn't add any shims for either of my 2 horses that used it.

gets the job done. A little hard to get the inserts in place initially but really that is a plus because they stay put. Wish you could add two inserts instead of only one.
