Thank you for purchasing the Insta Hot® Equine Portable Washing System from Schneiders. The instructions included apply to the showering application. To use this unit for bathing animals follow the instructions except do not attach the included hose and shower head. Instead do the following:

1. Attach the 1/2" NPT hose adapter to the water outlet.

2. Attach 25 coil hose included to the 1/2" adapter.

3. Attach the spray nozzle to coil hose. For best results use setting that permits maximum water flow.

To ensure optimum washing pressure, always use a smaller diameter washing hose (1/2" supplied) than your main water supply hose which governs your overall flow pressure. Remember; extra long hoses weaken pressure.

Insta-Hot® is equipped with safety shut off valve. Every time you activate, deactivate or adjust your spray nozzle, your unit momentarily shuts heat off, it then automatically reignites when the nozzle is activated again. This causes momentary temperature variations as water flows through the unit. Remember; constant flow enhances consistent water temperature.

The lightweight heating unit can be hung on a nail or a handy hook just about anywhere at home or at shows. Many customers have found mounting the heater and propane tank to Schneiders Insta-Hot® Cart to be the easiest and safest application. The hose and a bucket with grooming supplies can also be easily hung from the dolly.

**Update as of 1/18/2011**
A  brass continuous flow style nozzle will be included with the Insta-Hot® unit now (replacing the 7 function nozzle). The brass nozzle is more effective and easier to use. The 7 function nozzle or any nozzle that clicks to set a different spray causes the heater to turn off for a few seconds which interrupts the flow of hot water. Since most people change the spray it can become very frustrating. By testing a number of nozzles the brass nozzle was found to be superior because it can be turned down without turning the unit off.
