Our handcrafted leather halters are available in three brands designed to fit every need and budget. While each brand offers exceptional value; higher-quality leather is more comfortable, supple and durable.
Good: Premium buffalo leather crafted in the British tradition. Available in Havana brown.
Better: Excellent American-tanned heavy duty leather with attractive cream thread and beautifully finished with hand-rubbed and stained edges. Available in Havana brown or chestnut.
Best: Exceptionally attractive Sedgwick's of England pre-oiled leather hand-finished by their expert curriers. Made with matching thread, these halters offer peerless comfort, durability and resilience. Available in Havana brown or black.

Sedgwick's has always prided itself on the consistently high quality of its finished leather. Partly, this has been achieved by the sourcing of high quality hides, but also in maintaining the skills of expert curriers who finish the leather by hand. Many of these skills utilized at the beginning of the century are still employed today. Hence the management taking the view that these skills, when used correctly, produce the finest leather.
