The "Blocker" offers you a quick and easy alternative to other tying methods. Designed to be a support system rather than a restraint system, it allows the horse to pull slack in the lead rope when he panics or falls. It allows you to regulate the amount of hold by using one or more of the three different tying options. In addition, you can increase the hold by as little as a few pounds or as much as several hundred pounds simply by changing the type of lead you use.

Comments about Blocker Tie Ring II:

All I needed was the ring itself. Too bad I had to pay for mounting hardware I did not need. Great for use in horse trailer as it is easy to release if a horse gets in a panic.

So far my horse hasn't really challenged it but it certainly gives me peace of mind - and you can really use it anywhere - makes trailer tying so much easier!!

Comments about Blocker Tie Ring II:

Love love these! I use them in and outside of my horse trailer along with at the barn in the aisle and at the wash stall. We've used a set of these to help break a horse of the habit of flipping out in the cross ties because she didn't like her head constrained. I use them for when I'm doing bodywork on horses as well because I can adjust how much slack they can or cannot have. I love using them for my trailer as well; easy to quickly load and tie them into their slots instead of fussing with the trailer tie and trying to undo the lead rope before they do something creative in the slot. I also like using them to tie to the side of the trailer. My oldest horse the other year spooked at I have no idea what while tied to the trailer with one of these; the blocker tie let out some line and he calmed back down. Almost as if he didn't expect it to give. Definitely keep these on hand!! And you can adjust how easily the blocker tie gives slack with their little booklet that comes with the tie ring. Helpful with my youngest who likes to almost lean on the ties to see if they'll give or not.
