Comments about Joseph Sterling® Petite Dressage Bridle:

This bridle is a great choice for Morgans/Arabians. Nicely padded leather that doesn't overwhelm my horse's delicate face. Finally the throat latch isn't too long! However, the reins could be longer. Nice leather for the price.

Comments about Joseph Sterling® Petite Dressage Bridle:

This is a nice bridle. I own an Arabian so the cobb size worked well although we still needed to punch a new hole in the nose band. Overall though, it looks really nice on him and I like the padding on the front and back of the nose band. The thinner leather also looks very nice on a refined head. Would definitely recommend.

Comments about Joseph Sterling® Petite Dressage Bridle:

I have used this bridle on my mare ten times now. With a good leather conditioner, it is softening nicely. I love the removable flash. The thickness of the leather does not overwhelm my horse's petite face. The extra padding under the jaw seemed excessive and intimidating at first, but now I love it! It has a very soft thick pad that adds to the comfort. She has stopped chewing on her bit since switching to this bridle.
The Cob size still seems to run large. My 15.1 thoroughbred wears this to the last holes.

Comments about Joseph Sterling® Petite Dressage Bridle:

I purchased this bridle in the cob size for my Morgan mare. She is 14.2 with and overall on the petite side. I had originally purchased a Bobby's cob sized bridle that was tight and a bit small. This bridle fit, but was a bit big. Had to make holes up to the very end to make it work, but it does. Have been riding it for the last year and it is a nice quality. Switched out the reins, but an overall great bridle!

Comments about Joseph Sterling® Petite Dressage Bridle:

So happy to have found this narrower dressage bridle. It looks fabulous on my refine headed horse. I was able to go with the cob size as my horse is 39.5 inches bit end to bit end. The brow band is 15.25 inches which was perfect. It may have been just this individual bridle, however the leather was a little stiff and had a slight film on it (picture attached). I was able to clean it and recondition it and so far it looks good. The reins were a little flimsy and did not have a solid weight and feel in them. Again it may have been just this bridle. I ordered the premier bridle for a different horse and the leather and reins appeared to be of higher quality despite the significantly cheaper price. However since it was the narrower leather I wanted, I stuck with the Joesph Sterling version. If you do't mind a thicker bridle I would recommend the Premier. I feel the bridle is a little pricey for what it is however overall happy with the purchase.

What are the connections at the bit? I have this bridle from a few years ago, but can't tell from the picture if the connections are similar. And one of the reviews mentions a change.
