SS Turbo Lifter Correction
Unlike other conventional bits that put uneven amounts of pressure on a horses mouth and chin, DM Turbo Lifter distribute pressure evenly from the rein to the mouthpiece and chin strap. This leverage creates one distinct signal to the horse to break at the poll and lift their shoulders. The chinstrap on the DM Turbo is positioned higher on the jaw which means it stops the mouthpiece from exerting pressure on the mouth almost immediately.

For the horse that drops the shoulder, this bit is ideal. Wish I would have purchased this a long time ago!

Comments about DM Products SS Turbo Lifter Correction:

I had never seen a bit quite like this until yesterday! I helped my trainer exercise some of his clients horses and he had this bit on a ranch/reining horse. I don't know what kind of bits you can show in, but the mare was sent to him for a tune up before a huge show. If she popped her nose out or raised her head to high you just lift your rein hand up once or twice and her head drops and face goes vertical again. It was soft in her mouth, she didn't play with the bit at all, and never tried to pull or fight the bit. I loved it so much I'm going to try it out on some of my horses. Very impressed. Every trainer should have this bit!

I use this bit on my quarter horse that is fussy with certain bits. He loves this bit and doesnt flip or throw his head. It fits him comfortably and doesnt pinch. well worth the money.

              What bits are made of...

              Stainless Steel

Bits are most commonly made of stainless steel. Stainless steel can be cleaned and polished repeatedly without damaging the finish. It is strong, durable, and flavorless and does not impact salivation. Some stainless steel mouths are inlaid with copper.

              Copper

Copper encourages salivation to increase the sensitivity of the horse’s mouth. It warms up quicker than stainless steel in cold weather.

              Sweet Iron

Sweet iron is cold-rolled steel. The material appears rusty after repeated use. This oxidation tastes sweet to the horse and increases salivation.

              Rubber

Rubber softens the action of the bit as it is softer than traditional metals. Rubber-covered bits are generally thicker than metal.

              Aluminum

Aluminum is lightweight and easy to maintain.

              Plastic

Plastic bits are softer than traditional metal bits and they are durable. Many plastic bits are scented or flavored.

              Nickel Silver

Nickel silver is a nickel alloy, also known as German silver. It encourages salivation for a more sensitive and supple mouth.
