Medium / High Port Bits

Medium and high-port curb bits lessen tongue pressure and increase the pressure on the bars, creating a stronger signal. Ports measuring over 2" can also pressure the palate to encourage flexing at the poll.

  • High-port bits should be used by experienced riders as contact is made with the palate, the rider's hands dictate the severity of all bits.

After extensive research, the Clear Signal line of bits are designed to promote unparalleled comfort while sending clear communication to your horse. This bit allows pressure to only be applied to a horse when the bit is engaged. This allows a horse to respond faster to commands as it receives a direct, clear signal. The shape of the bars allows the horse to hold the bit comfortably without movement or slippage while in a relaxed state. Blackened alloy steel with sweet iron mouth that will rust over time. Lifetime guarantee.
