Dura-Tech 1680 poly neck cover attaches to the Dura-Tech Viking Extreme Turnout blankets with 4 carabiner clips. Midweight insulation with a smooth nylon lining, and hook and loop closures.
The neck covers attaches to the D-rings around the neck with 4 carabiner clips keeping the turnout blanket and neck cover securely attached to each other.
Hook and Loop Neck Closure
Hook and loop closure straps offer ample adjustment to fit any width of neck keeping your horse warm and snug.
Optional Halter Tab Attachment
If turning your horse out with a halter you may use the halter tab attachment at the end of the neck cover for an added stability option. The tab has an elastic center for stretch-ability and attaches around the halter with hook and loop closure. Note - you do not have to use the halter tab for it to stay in place.
Midweight Warmth
220 gram insulation for midweight warmth level is a universal weight that can be used with either a heavyweight or midweight warmth blanket.
Maintenance Free Nylon Lining
Soft, smooth, 100% breathable nylon lining will keep your horse's coat smooth and shiny. We do recommend when using a neck cover that you check your horse's mane regularly for tangles.
