Specifically designed for the needs of the English, Western, and Arabian exhibitor, and the expanding trail riding market, we offer equestrian riding supplies, horse blankets and sheets, Western tack, English tack, English saddlery, horse care and equestrian apparel.

Our mission is to provide horse owners and riders with everything they need to train, show, and enjoy their horses. We stock and ship thousands of horse and rider supplies every year, and have developed more than 200 original products, designed around the needs of our customers.

Digital Marketing Manager

We’re looking for data driven marketer who will roll up their sleeves to turbo charge our customer acquisition and retention programs. You will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing our digital marketing programs, which includes a heavy emphasis on Google AdWords and Shopping, with the goal of increasing the number of customers and lifetime value.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage, and execute programs across key digital channels (paid search with a heavy emphasis on shopping, retargeting, social, mobile, and email) from idea through execution, including determining the optimal creative, channel mix, and budget.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team members to optimize campaigns to achieve broader marketing goals and initiatives; aligning with attribution, media-mix and customer funnel strategies.
  • Identify growth opportunities and implement initiatives to further grow the business; potentially researching/piloting new channels of acquisition.
  • Thoroughly communicate all marketing results and customer behavior in non-marketing-speak. Teach the team what works and doesn’t work.
  • Perform customer analysis, conduct tests, track and analyze performance, and communicate results
  • Identify, establish, and maintain agency relationships to meet goals
  • Manage financial objectives, budgets, performance metrics that result in increased LTV
Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Math or a related analytical field
  • 3-5+ years of experience in digital marketing experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of search engine marketing, conversion optimization, and online customer acquisition
  • Self-directed and able to work independently with minimal direct supervision, while recognizing the value of contributing in a team environment
  • Innovative thinker, able to operate in strategic capacity and with laser-focus on flawless execution
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEM and digital marketing
  • Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel skills, with the proven ability to scrutinize large amounts of data and turn it into actionable initiatives

Merchant in Training

This six-month training program will include assignments in customer service (phone, chat and email), our brick-and-mortar retail store, and distribution center. Also learn on the job working with a full marketing, creative and merchandising team in house. During the six-month training period, we are offering the opportunity to utilize your passion for, and knowledge of, the equestrian industry in a bona fide business application; experiences that will be transferable wherever your career path lies. We are also offering a flexible schedule, the ability to learn from some of the most knowledgeable and respected equestrian supply experts in the US, and the opportunity to interact extensively with our enthusiastic customers, both in person and over the phone.

Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree (or actively pursuing), preferably in business, marketing, management, or the equestrian field
  • Several years of experience or personal knowledge as an equestrian (a "horse person")
  • Exceptional customer service and verbal communication skills; both over the phone and in person
  • Excellent planning & organizational skills, and proven presentation skills

Photography Intern

We are seeking a Photography Intern whose primary objective is to shoot, edit and catalog photography assets. This position will work with creative, marketing, merchandising as well as external vendors to generate, gather, store, and distribute visual assets as needed. This team member will be responsible for photographing products for our e-commerce site, catalog and other photography needs in a way that highlights key features and benefits and will allow us to stand out in the marketplace. Horse experience and a passion for horses is ideal. The Photography Intern reports to the Creative Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Photograph products in-studio for website and catalog use following our standards and guidelines
  • Batch and edit images including resizing, retouching and color correcting
  • Add metadata and keywords to digital images
  • Assist by cataloging/organizing photo database in an efficient manner
  • Obtain images from national brand vendors
  • Prepare and upload images to ecommerce website
  • Assist creative team in preparation for and during on-location/lifestyle photo shoots
  • Limited on-location, live action horse and model photography, with room to grow
  • Ability to maintain quality when working under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, time management, organization and attention to detail
  • High level of energy and drive to meet deadlines and delivery dates
  • Occasional physical activity such as lifting and carrying boxes up to 40 lbs
  • Ability to work extended days and hours
Qualifications
  • Photography experience – preferably in studio, product, equine, ecommerce, marketing or advertising related experience
  • Working knowledge of DSLR cameras, lighting equipment and techniques, and supporting equipment and maintenance
  • Currently enrolled or have post-secondary degree in photography or related field (or minimum 2 years of experience with portfolio)
  • Proficient in up-to-date Adobe Creative Suite - specifically Lightroom, Photoshop, Bridge
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Superior photo editing and retouching skills
  • Excel in natural and artificial lighting techniques
  • Experience in the equestrian industry. Knowledgeable and comfortable working with horses as well as in different stable environments.
  • Proactive and able to work independently as well as within a team environment
  • Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure
  • A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to the work
  • Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines
  • Knowledge of the products and our target audience as well as an understanding of the latest trends within the equestrian industry

Full-time (40 hrs per week) or part-time (up to 30 hrs per week) paid internships available. Scheduling is flexible, minimum commitment is 3 months, with potential opportunity for a permanent position.
