Flash Bridle Features and Benefits
Common in the dressage ring and jumper ring, the flash bridle integrates a flash attachment with a bridle, creating a more comfortable fit on the horse’s nose. Before the integrated flash, you could only use a flash attachment on your noseband, or caveson, leaving an uncomfortable bump on the sensitive top of your horse’s nose. The flash bridle has solved this problem by integrating a leather loop into the middle of the noseband, which the flash attachment runs through, making the caveson smooth against the horse’s nose.
The flash part of the bridle is used to help hold the bit engaged in the horse’s mouth by keeping their mouth closed, aligned and with tongue in place. This helps to prevent the horse from evading the bit and running through the rider’s aids.
Flash bridles, like other English bridles, are available in brown or black leather with your choice of plain or fancy stitching. Other options available are padded or raised leather accents.
