Love this blanket!

This blanket is great! My daughter is able to get it on her horse herself. It doesn't slip off and he can't get it off easily. It also brushes off nicely.

Does the horse tail go under the blanket or over it.

Wendy

The leg strap wraps around the horse's leg from behind and fastens by pulling the clasp through the slot on the side. I wasn't sure about the design at first, but turns out it is kind of genius. Keeps the blanket placed squarely and seems a lot safer than the usual elastic leg straps.

jamescassese

The horse's tail is under the blanket. There is no tail flap on this blanket.

Anonymous

There is no tail flap, so the blanket fits over the horses hindquarters and the tail portion is not covered at all. It is contoured to fit around the top of the tail area, not sit on or cover it but allow the tail to sit as it normally does with no impediments.

The tail goes under the blanket.

Community Answer

What is an Ocala leg strap?

Lynn

This blanket has a front surcingle strap and the rear leg straps go through the reinforced leg strap slot into the T-lock fastener.

Anonymous

The leg straps on this blanket are the type that thread through a slotted opening in the blanket and then go through a metal clasp.  It's the exact same type of strap that is used for the belly, adjustable and durable.
