    Is the Aridity wicking lining on the entire blanket? Specifically the shoulders and front?

    The Aridity wicking lining is in the shoulder area and up over the back and rump, extending down about 20".

    What are the differences between the Gladiator and the Challenger? What justifies the Gladiator being twice the price of the Challenger? How do the two blankets compare in terms of waterproofing?

    The Challenger series of blankets/sheets has a 5 year warranty while the Gladiator has a lifetime warranty. The Gladiator has 15X the waterproofing of other brands of blankets. Most brands use 1000mm waterproofing and the Gladiator uses 15,000mm. We have the longest warranties among other leading brands.

    How does this sheet compare to the Rambo? Especially in terms of being waterproof.

    The ArmorFlex Gladiator has a 1200 denier ripstop poly outer a layer of bamboo charcoal that wicks moisture. This blanket/sheet has 15X the waterproofing of other brands and has a lifetime warranty. The Rambo series of blankets/sheets has a 1000 denier ballistic nylon outer and has a 3 year warranty.

    What is the recommended way to clean/launder this blanket so as to not void the warranty?

    We recommend that the waterproof blankets/sheets be washed with our Schneider's Blanket Wash or similar products in warm water. You can put the blanket/sheet in the dryer on warm (permanent press cycle) or line dry. Do not place in a hot dryer.

    What is the difference between the V-tech and the V-Free?

    The V-Free design is raised and shaped over the wither and goes up to the start of the mane. This style has a more sloped shoulder and fits horses with a moderate to low withers such as stock horse breeds and Arabians. The VTEK design is raised and shaped over the wither and extends 6-8" onto the mane. This style has a more upright shoulder and smaller neck opening making it perfect for higher withered horses.
