Features Include:

  • Patented V-Free® design prevents rubbing and relieves wither pressure for horses with moderate to low withers, leaving the mane uncovered
  • Original Adjusta-Fit® shoulder allows you to semi-custom fit the front of the blankets which is great for your narrow chested or young, growing horses
  • Hair won't stick to this liner, yet it has the wicking features of a cooler, so you can put it on a horse that’s slightly damp from a workout
  • Can be used under any of our V-Free® style turnouts or stable blankets
  • Made to fit for lower withered, sloped shouldered breed conformations like Arabians, Quarter Horses, stock horse breeds, and similar conformations
  • Deep V Closed front is less restrictive when the horses head is down
  • Contoured back and hip for a comfortable fit
  • Leg slots allow for the leg straps of the top blanket to be fed through and attached back to the top blankets
  • This liner is for layering use only and cannot be used alone
  • 70 Denier Nylon Outer / Tekno-Fleece® (Polar Fleece) Insulation / 70 Denier Nylon Lining
  • Sizes: 68, 70, 72, 74, 76, 78, 80, 82, 84, 86

Love these liners!

I bought two of these liners to layer under blankets when we had some sub zero temps. I liked them so much I promptly ordered two more! They fit all of our horses perfectly - the adjustable shoulder makes for a great fit on everyone from TB to QH. They stay in place very well and are a nice extra bit of warmth for the super cold days and nights. They also seem like they would work just as well under a light sheet for more moderate temps. They are light, easy to wash and dry. Perfect for our set up.

Great for an extra layer

I use this under a turnout sheet or blanket to add a little extra warmth; if I had more than one horse I would buy one for each horse, I really love it. It is very well made, easy to wash, and just the right weight - not too warm under a sheet for milder winter days. Moisture-wicking fleece lining is an added bonus. However, the closed front means that this fits my narrow-shouldered horse a bit loosely, and even though she usually wears a 78" blanket the 76" liner I got for her is just a little too long without tightening the adjustable fit. The cut of this liner along the rump is also better suited for use under a stable blanket, not a turnout. It will peek out a tiny bit under a turnout that is cut straight down the rump. The dee slots also do not line up well under a turnout, but it still works well with some finicking with the leg straps.

Would would the weight gram equivalent be for this liner? 80g?

Chocolate Horse Ranch

The Tekno Fleece liner is the equivalent of about 100gms of insulation.

Cheri

Does the inside of this blanket have exposed fleece?

Jenn

No it does not. It has a soft nylon lining up against the horse.
