Very good flymasks

very good flymasks, they fit my lipizzan mare and my freisian/quarter horse mare too. There is plenty of room for lots of forelock hair. The elastic in the velcro insures that you cannot put them on too toghtly.

Good quality fly mask

This is a nice durable fly mask. It fits well and doesn't shift around or come off. It seems comfortable too and he can wear it all day when it's hot and buggy. Even without ears it does a good job keeping flies off his face.

Just your run of the mill fly mask

I purchased this for my draft cross but it was way too big. Decent quality though! Someone will get good use out of it!

I have bought this product multiple times

I try to keep this on my boy during fly season. Of all the fly masks I've tried, this one has the least amount of shavings stuck to it in the morning. However, he puts his head next to the bars between box stalls and lets his buddy peel open the velcro and take it off. I find it buried in the next stall every darn morning. I suppose that indicates how durable the thing is -- it does not tear!

I have been buying this fly mask for my Clydesdale for 5 yrs

I like to keep the masks on while traveling to help keep any flying shavings or bugs out my horse's eyes.

fit very well

Seems to fit well

This time was buying a replacement for 20 year old mask.

If you were lucky enough to get an original one, don't expect the same quality.

Cashel Crusader® Standard Fly Mask without Ears

Hi, I'm considering the Cashel Crusader for my Warmblood. He has a big head and my concern is the measurement from his poll around the large part of his jaw and back up to the poll which is approximately 45 inches. His face length is 27" from poll to mid-nostril. Around the nose in front of jaw is 27. His brow is 10-11 inches. I'm wondering if the warmblood size will fit? Thanks for your help. Debbi

For my horse, each of those measurements described below is about 1 inch smaller. I find the warmblood size works really well and I don't have it as tight as a Hood be around my horse so I think there is some wiggle room for a horse with a very slightly smaller head. I think it would work for this horse. Kady M. Hi. Yes, I think it will fit good. The Velcro closure has a nice stretch to it to allow a more custom fit. Sent from my iPhone

I think they run large. I bought 2 Cashel Crusader fly masks, Draft size for my huge 1800 pound Percheron Drafts and they were too large. I'm going to have to sew a tuck around the outer edges. I have the elastic on the jaw pulled as tight as it will go to prevent gnats from getting in and it's barely tight enough.

I bought the Horse size for my 17h Thoroughbred who's also a big guy but has the typical slim, long, TB head. I'd go with the Warmblood size for your big guy! Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone Debbi" height="25" width="auto">

From your measurements, it looks as thought the Warmblood size should fit. The measurement on the fly mask are: 46" (poll to poll around the jaw) 21" (poll to nose) 30" around the nose and the brow is 15"

Debbie, The warmblood fly mask measures as follows32" circumference of nose20.5" poll to nose - the mask fits mid-way between poll and nose21" poll to chin - 42" circumference fabric only. These measurements do not include the velcro strap at the jaw, only the material. This mask is too large for my 17h percheron - thoroughbred cross.I think it will fit your horse fine. Hope this helps.
