I use this in the stalls or under a rain sheet on slightly colder/rainier days.

Great stable blanket! well made seems durable. Good fit.

This is a great little blanket, got it for indoor below zero nights, but have been leaving it on during turnout, as they aren't out for long and its still below 10 degrees and breezy during the day. It would not be waterproof and does not have much freedom of movement for front legs, hence stable blanket. My horse has a winter coat and is easy on blankets (usually). My horse measures 72, which is what I purchased, fits great if he is standing still. It does cut into his neck a bit when head down eating, but doesn't seem to bother him, he grabs a bit of hay and lifts head a bit to chew. Not sure I would go with a 74 tho... maybe.

I just started to keep a stable blanket on my gelding this winter, to try to keep a nicer coat on him. He seems very comfortable in this blanket, it's warm and not too much when the day gets warmer. I love the nice hair coat it makes from the smooth lining. It really stays in place as well, the shape is very fitted. Great quality, especially at the clearance price I picked it up for!!
