I love this brand it always fits great but I went to wash a neck cover in warm water and dried it on medium, I've done this before with the last two I bought a couple years ago no problem but I washed the new one I got so I could make a minor repair (the stitching on the Velcro strap let go) and after I washed it and dried it I when to put it back on my horse to find it had shrunk, never had this problem with the last ones I bought, but since the colour has tone has changed I'm guessing the material has changed with it. It would be great if the neck covers had a tag or came with washing instructions so this wouldn't happen. Other than that it's a good brand just be careful to wash it in cold and dry it on low or ultra low if you have the option.

was too long for my short necked horse. also was not wide enough and barely went around to the 1st velcro attachment at the throat. it had enough attachment points with snaps to hold it to the turnout sheet. only used it 3 times so far due to rain and sleet, and snow this year. I bought the medium size for that was they suggested to go with his blanket size. but he has a short neck but very thick with alot of mane.

I use this product for extreme cold weather for turn out. It can wear out the mane so I usually braid the mane underneath and have had no problems. Its great to use even over a sheet hood for added warmth in layering!
