Overview

The Blanket of a Lifetime

These heavy-duty waterproof turnout blankets and sheets allow your horse to stay comfortable and dry no matter how rough they play out in the pasture. Aridity™ Bamboo Charcoal inner layer wicks moisture away from the horse, keeping them more comfortable during temperature changes. Enlarged tail cover acts as a better wind and rain barrier. Extended gussets with 3M reflective patches and tail stripe for added visibility at dusk or for night turnout.

VTEK® Pressure Free Wither Prevents Rubbing

Patented V-TEK® Wither relief blankets are designed to prevent rubbing and relieve pressure on high to moderate withers. They are uniquely designed to fit Thoroughbreds, Warmbloods, Appendix horses, or those with Upright Shoulder Conformation. They include an extended drop to cover a deeper heartgirth and they are shaped with darts at the hips to give a more contoured fit around the rump. Extends 6 to 8 inches onto the mane.

Criss-Cross Surcingle Stays in Place

Leg Straps Included!

Detachable Elastic leg straps help keep the blanket in place. Our leg straps adjust from 20" to 38" and will stretch as horse moves. Set at optimum snugness and use the double brass-plated snaps for easy on and off.

"This blanket is PERFECT! The fit is great and the V-Free wither is a game changer for my horse. All other blankets would wear hard on the same spot on his withers and rub his mane off. Better for than other blankets with a warranty

"The fit of this blanket is just great. Love the different fit options for the different builds as well. The free is great for my quarter horse and the break is great for my warmblood. I have a bunch of another blanket that has a warranty, but those aren't very waterproof and the fit is just not as good, so excited to slowly replace them with these."

Good fit, not tough enough.

"I really like overall fit of this blanket and the wither relief it provides, however, even though it has a warranty it's too easily damaged. The hood connection rings ripped off within the first turnout. I've had the blanket replaced twice, and I only have 1 replacement left on what was a "10-year" warranty. It's just not built tough enough, even for a horse that doesn't play hard. I wouldn't consider purchasing this again unless I was going to move my horse to individual turnout."

"My two OTTB are adjusting to life as regular horses turned out 8 hours a day with a rough and tumble herd and 4 distinct weather seasons. This blanket fits them perfectly throughout their transition from a racing body to a fleshed out horse of leisure and good health body. The adjust-a-fit aspect is effective and eliminates trying a million blankets for the right fit.
