How do I know this fly sheet is right for my horse?
There are many factors to consider when choosing a fly sheet for your horse, including breathability, durability, and the amount of UV and insect protection the fly sheet offers. The RipGuard Adjusta-Fit® Fly Sheets are right for your horse if you're looking for a fly sheet that self-repairs against small snags, blocks UV rays, and protects against flies. Don't forget the matching RipGuard Neck Cover.

This fly sheet is available in two patented fits: VTEK® Wither Relief and V-Free® Wither Relief.
Our VTEK ® Wither Relief fly sheets are designed to prevent rubbing and relieve pressure on moderate to high withers. The upright shoulder and shape over the withers are designed to fit Thoroughbreds, Warmbloods, Appendix horses, or those with upright shoulder conformation. It includes an extended drop to cover a deeper heartgirth and they are shaped with darts at the hips to give a more contoured fit around the rump. Extends 6 to 8 inches onto the mane with fleece placed where the mane meets the sheet, further preventing rubbing.
Our V-Free® Wither Relief fly sheets are designed to prevent rubbing and relieve pressure on low to moderate-withered horses. With the larger neck opening and sloped neck line that covers the shoulders, this fit is designed specifically for Arabians, Quarter Horses, Stock breed horses, or those with sloped shoulder conformation. The drop on these sheets is longer than a stable sheet, allowing a slight wrap around the barrel. Darts at the hip form a contoured fit around the rump. V-Free® Wither Relief sheets begin where the mane ends, leaving the mane uncovered with fleece placed where the mane meets the sheet, further preventing rubbing.

The open front design features double front buckles with hook and loop closures, allowing you to easily adjust the fly sheet for the perfect amount of "snugness" at the front of the chest. Plus, the buckles make it easy to put on and remove.

The bellyband closure option protects from flies and midges biting along the sensitive underbelly line. Hardware is positioned to avoid rubbing or poking while your horse is lying down, and the rear surcingle includes a stretch panel for more give as the horse moves since the proper fit is with the bellyband snug and flush to the belly.

How to Measure a Horse for a Blanket
The most accurate and easiest way to determine your horse’s blanket size is to measure along the side of their body, from chest to tail. First, stand the horse square on a flat surface. Measure from the center of the chest, straight back to the very edge of the tail. Make sure to measure along the widest part of their shoulder and hindquarters. The number of inches measured in this way is your horse’s size. Look on the size chart for any Schneiders blanket for this number of inches to order your horse’s perfect size.
