The freight carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment. Deliveries are typically made in a 48’ semi-truck, will only honor delivery arrangements on semi-trucks, please contact our Customer Service team to discuss options. When the driver arrives a pallet jack and lift gate will be used to help get your order down to the ground. Due to liability reasons carriers cannot deliver your order inside of your building unless you have a truck accessible dock. They will however get their semi-truck as close to where you want the freight offloaded as possible. They just need to be able to get their truck in and out of your property safely.
Although the driver will assist in the offloading, certain situations or products may require some assistance on your part. It is advised that you be present during the offloading of the freight. You will want to watch for anything out of the ordinary and inspect all products for damage or shortages before signing for the delivery. If you notice anything you feel is odd or see any damage or shortage to the shipment you will need to note these events on the Bill Of Lading before signing for the shipment and contact our Customer Service team via email or phone as soon as possible. You will also need to take pictures of any damage that you find.
If damages are not noted on the Bill Of Lading at the time the shipment is received then it can become very difficult for us to file a warranty claim with the carrier and could result in the replacement of any damaged items being delayed.
