"2 things tricky about this mask- the first time you put it on your horse- it’s may be a little worrisome. You have to get them to put their nose in it, then you can tuck in their ears and secure it at the poll. Once it smells like them the next putting on isn’t such a big deal. Second thing is - it takes up a lot of room when you go to store it aww. But it does stay clear of her eyes and she seems to like it."

"I bought two sizes cob and full. The cob is really short. Like not long enough on their nose so it sits really close to their eyes even with the visor thing. I’ve tried it on 2 of my geldings who wear a cob in everything else and it didn’t fit either of them very well. The full fits them great though. Other than the sizing issue I love this fly mask! It’s great quality and has held up to my very destructive gelding so far! The closure at the top is cool and I feel like it actually fits them better and is more comfortable for the horse."
"This mask does an amazing job of keeping contact off my horse’s eyes. It has a snug fit all the way around and I have not found gnats or flies in the mask unlike most fly masks I have. I tighten the mask as much as possible but my horse has figured out how to get it off. The Velcro on top makes for easy closure because he drops his head into the mask. I am hopeful it will last more than one season as it is VERY expensive. Hot Texas heat and direct sun while grazing creates sweating around his ears and nose band but not too bad. Does not rub his forelock. I feel that stalled horses that do not have fencing, trees and such to rub the mask, will keep their mask several seasons longer than my pastured horse. Overall I’m happy with the mask but recommend watching out for sales."
"I really wanted to like this fly mask because I think the concept is good. I bought two of them one a cob size and one horse size. The cob size was very small and wouldn’t even fit on a large pony that I tried so I donated it to a horse rescue. The horse size fit on the large pony, but after a week the stitching came out on the Velcro on top very disappointed I don’t have time to call in and complain since they’re asking me for a review. I’m just gonna leave a bad review. Money was totally wasted."
"Bought this for the mosquito mesh but also the visor. While I didn’t really need a sun visor feature, the hoop is great for keeping fabric away from the eyes and reducing chances of rubbing. It was almost perfect. I think it’s a little tight around my gelding’s nose, even with the stretchy fabric. And I think sizing up it’d be too big. I stretched it out on my own and if I need to, I’ll cut it. Besides that, this design was a great idea and it will come in very handy during monsoon season when the gigantic mosquitoes come out."
"This is the BEST fly mask. My horse has very sensitive ears, so I am able to get his ears tucked in & then pull the Velcro tab closure. The visor design allows extra space around the eyes so there's reduced risk of a corneal abrasion. It withstands rolling & mud & has yet to come off without me removing it. Definitely recommend!!"
"Love the design with the spandex jaw and Velcro fastener at the poll. I ordered the horse size for my Appendix mare like I have several other Mosquitoe Mesh masks- Unfortunately is runs much smaller and doesn’t fit. As I’d had it monogrammed I couldn’t return. It does fit my daughters 2y/o filly. She is wearing it well and keeping it on. Super nice mask, expensive, so I wish it had fit the intended horse."
