Cross Ties for Horses that are Safe and Easy to Install

Our selection of cross ties and tie rings are specifically made for quick, easy installation in any barn or stable. They’re all made to install with regular tools you already have in your barn toolbox and feature easy snap-and-release options so you can quickly attach and release ties once installed.

Why do you Cross Tie Horses?

You typically cross-tie your horse in order to groom, wash or treat injuries, making sure they stand in one place so that you can work safely. Cross-tying your horse keeps them centered in the work area, allowing you to safely work on both sides of the horse. There are many different types of cross ties on the market today, including nylon, rope, and breakaway options.

It’s important to remember that using the wrong ties or hardware could cause your horse to pull back, potentially leading to an injury. That's why we carry an array of cross ties and horse tie hardware for facilities, many with safety features for quick-release should your horse start to panic from being tied.
