Any water will simply bead up and roll off the material, maintaining your horse’s warmth and comfort in practically any weather. 3M Teflon even extends the blanket's life, helping repel 95% of water and oil-based stains with 25-40% faster drying times.
An Open Front Design with Front Snaps for Easy On and Off
The open front design features a wider front hook and loop to assist in keeping the open front closed better! The design allows you to easily adjust the blanket for the perfect amount of "snugness" at the front of the chest. Plus, the snaps make it easy to put on and remove.
Better Gusset Design for Additional Freedom
Our reinforced gussets extend higher and more forward, allowing greater freedom of motion for the shoulder and preventing rubbing on the shoulders. This innovative design offers additional freedom and comfort for your horse.

The criss-cross belly closure guarantees a perfect fit, ensuring the blanket stays securely in place, even while your horse moves. The criss-cross surcingles adjust to the center to prevent the blanket sliding sideways. It also features locking bands and detachable elastic leg straps for added security. The chrome-plated hardware is resistant to moisture, manure, and detergents, preventing corrosion.

How to Measure a Horse for a Blanket
The most accurate and easiest way to determine your horse’s blanket size is to measure along the side of their body, from chest to tail. First, stand the horse square on a flat surface. Measure from the center of the chest, straight back to the very edge of the tail. Make sure to measure along the widest part of their shoulder and hindquarters. The number of inches measured in this way is your horse’s size. Look on the size chart for any Schneiders blanket for this number of inches to order your horse’s perfect size.
