Versatile enough to help your horse whether they need cold therapy or hot therapy, these hot and cold therapy boots are an essential must-have in your therapy toolbox! These horse wraps can be placed in the freezer for cold therapy or in the microwave to heat for hot therapy. Perfect to help heal soft tissue injury or trauma or as a preventative tool after exercise. These boots stretch from just below the knee to cannon bone, fetlock, and pastern. These wraps are sold in pairs and should only be used in the stall.

Hot and Cold Therapy
For cold use, wraps can be placed in the freezer before use. Gel inserts will stay cold for 30 minutes. To Heat the wraps - take the gel insert out of the boot, place it in the microwave on low heat for 30-60 seconds at a time while checking between intervals. As to not overheat you should be able to hold your hand on the gel wrap for at least 10 seconds comfortably. Stays warm for 20 minutes. One size fits most: 14" total height and can adjust from 11" to 15" around (at the top of the cannon). Cold should be used on new and acute injuries and to reduce swelling while heat should be used on more chronic issues like arthritis and sore muscles.

Secure Fastening
Three hook and loop closures plus a pastern support strap with elastic for additional give, hold these boots securely in place.
