"It's thick and cushiony. It works nicely with the leather surcingle for a good horses. For my larger horse, it's too thick and cannot cinch up the surcingle girth. That said, it works as designed and notice that it does keep my smaller horse's back dry under the surcingle."

"I like this product a lot but I would like the Velcro straps to be a little longer. It fits around the Billy Royal Surcingle but it's a tight fit. Other than that, it's a must have for a surcingle."

"This is a well-made surcingle pad. Make sure you check measurements to make sure it's not too long for your particular surcingle because it is long. It works great for mine, but I did measure prior to purchasing. It looks like it should be very durable and easy to wash as well."
