This lightweight, stable blanket made with a 420D breathable nylon outer shell allows your horse to stay comfortable during cool weather. The cutback wither design provides a rub-free fit for horses with high-head carriage and a lower wither. Plus, it’s just the right weight for heated barns, moderate climates, or changing weather, the Tekno-Fleece® lining is warm yet breathable and wicks away moisture, so your horse doesn’t overheat. The deep V, closed front, has a deeper cut, allowing your horse's head down without pulling the blanket forward, avoiding discomfort or rubbing.

Our Cutback Wither fit cuts away at the withers to provide a rub-free fit for horses with high-head carriage and a lower wither. The larger neck opening and sloped net line cut back for the withers make this the perfect design for breeds with confirmations similar to Arabians, Morgans, Friesians, Saddlebreds, and Tennessee Walkers. The cutback wither is also a favorite when caring for long-mane horses, so manes are not damaged.

The Perfect Weight for Fluctuating Temperatures

This stable blanket provides lightweight warmth when the temperature drops below 60F. No more guessing which blanket weight is right when the temperatures fluctuate! The Tekno-Fleece® lining has anti-sweat properties and works by wicking away moisture, ensuring your horse stays comfortable, dry, and sweat-free. A perfect blanket for Spring and Fall as well as winter months in a heated barn.

Surcingle and Leg Straps Stay in Place

Reinforced leg straps and a surcingle closure adjust to keep the blanket from sliding from side to side. The blanket comes with locking bands for increased security. Brass-plated hardware resists corrosion from moisture, manure, and detergents.

Closed Front Prevents Rubbing

This blanket liner is designed with a deep-v closed front with a deep cut that allows your horse to put their head down without pulling the blanket forward, avoiding discomfort or rubbing.

"I love this blanket in the V-Free cut because it has light, wicking Teknofleece with a smooth lining that won't pick up bedding & hair. Unfortunately, this cutback version is fleece on the inside so it's not nearly as useful & easy to keep clean.
