Old school grooming totes-- the best.
"These plastic totes hang neatly over a half wall in my tack room and sit on the fence rails outside. They hold everything I need and more, keeping my grooming tools separate. I hate roughing up nice brushes with hoofpicks, scissors, mane combs, etc. I got three different colors to grab at a glance. These are stout enough for my work tools, and I can just reach in and grab what I need without fumbling around, so one is a tool box. Over the years, I've tried a lot of grooming kits. The tall ones tip over and spill. The small fabric ones rack up your brushes or come undone. The big fabric ones get groaty inside when your coppertox of hoof black leak. The only downside to the plastic totes is they don't close so your grooming tools might get dusty. If your grooming tools are getting dusty, appy more elbow grease. These plastic kits are easy to clean and last forever. Seriously. I have an old one that's at least 20 years old and it looks as good as new."
