Polo Wraps, Function and Fun
Polo wraps are horse bandages used while riding for mild support and protection from minor scrapes, bruising and interfering. Polo wraps are made of a low-lofted synthetic fleece fabric with built in stretch and are soft and pliable, able to conform to the conformation of your horse’s leg.
Polo wraps are wrapped around the horse’s cannon bone from just below the knee or hock to the fetlock joint. They are carefully wrapped in an overlapping fashion helping to protect your horse’s against splints, scrapes, or chaffing and bruises from legs interfering.
Very common on the dressage and reining horse and polo ponies, polo wraps are available in many colors and patterns to fit your personal taste. In addition, polo wraps are very economical and easy-care making them very popular with all types of riders.
