Pump does not fit bottle

"I'm not sure how the oil works but the pump does not fit the top of the bottle. When you twist pump lid over the bottle it does not tighten around the top of the bottle. This pump can not be used with this bottle, and the oil is not air tight without the top being tight. And because I did put the pump some oil, a small amount it continued to leak after I pumped it making a mess. I'm not sure if this is because the bottle did not close properly and was not air tight."
